It happened again. Same time same place. I’m standing at my garage like I do everynight, getting ready to lock up the house, but before I shut the door I look out to the street. Its never too busy at night, more peaceful then scary. I don’t even realize i’m moving until I reach the edge of the sidewalk. My eyes are already wet, my cheeks streaked with salt water stains. It doesn’t phase me, I’ve grown used to my own tears. I don’t know why I’m crying. I don’t even know why I’m sad. I just know that I am. I’m moving again only this time into the street, not sure if I’ll reach the other side, but I don’t worry much. My birthday is in just 4 days. Wouldn’t it be a surprise if I wasn’t there.
